Todd Jeffers, Head Coach, 
3rd Season (50-36 career record)

2010,2012 Area 16 Champions, 2011 Area 16 Runner-up, 2012 State Runner-Up, 2012 ASWA 6A Coach of the Year, 2012 Huntsville Times Metro Coach of the Year.
Todd Jeffers enters his tenth season in high school basketball and his third season at Hazel Green High School. Jeffers joined the Hazel Green staff in July of 2009 and was named interim head coach in December of the same season. At the time he took over the program, HG was 4-4. He immediately reeled off a 7-game winning streak, finished with a 19-10 record and led the Trojans to their first Area Championship in five years.

Prior to coming to Hazel Green, Jeffers served as an assistant at Randolph for two seasons and spent five years as an assistant for Luther Tiggs at Sparkman. While at Sparkman, Jeffers helped lead the Senators to a Final Four berth, a Huntsville Times Championship, SportsMed Shootout Championship, and two Area 15 Championships.

Jeffers, 41, has been married to his wife, the former Jenni Grady, for 13 years. The couple has two children, Grady, seven, and Anne-Caroline, five. Jenni works for the Botanical Gardens of Huntsville as the Director of Marketing. They enjoy going to the beach and traveling in their spare time.

David Manning (JV), Assistant Coach
2nd Season

David Manning enters his second year as a member of the Hazel Green coaching staff and adds 13 years of coaching experience to the program. Manning will coach the JV team and assist with the varsity program. Prior to joining the Trojans, Manning served as an assistant to Bo Coln at Grissom during the 2009-10 season. This followed at 10-year coaching stint at DAR where Manning coached the middle school, freshmen, JV, and varsity teams. During his stay at DAR, Manning help guide the Patriots to the 2002 Final Four.

Origianally from Skyline, Ala., where he played on a Final Four team in 1994, Manning and his wife Leah currently live in Grant, Ala.

Managers:

Jacob Onken is a junior at Hazel Green High School. Jacob enjoys video games, comic books, fine literature, and of course Trojan Basketball. He has lived in Hazel Green his entire life, he has one sister, Elizabeth 18, and one brother Michael 12. After high school, Jacob plans on attending college and enjoying a successful life.

Gary Owens is a junior at Hazel Green High School. Gary has a deep love of basketball and enjoys all aspects of the game. Gary enjoys video games in his spare time. He has one brother, Austin 13, he is an 8th grader at Meridianville Middle School. After high school, Gary plans on attending The University of Alabama.
